ICT Leadership - Innovative

This Key Area is concerned with the leadership provided for the embedding ICT into learning and teaching.

At the Innovative level there is significant support and/or leadership being offered for both students and teachers.  This leadership encompasses innovative use of technology and approach.

  • Provide staff with information about conferences, including virtual conferences, and out-of-school professional development opportunities, which support their Personal Professional Learning goals.  
  •  Assist teachers in optimising student access to ICT throughout the school.
  • Provide advice on technical troubleshooting and classroom strategies by providing examples of standards-based, technology-rich projects that are relevant to participating teachers and/or departments.
  • Assist a teacher in a lesson that integrates technology that you have planned together and support teachers developing technology skills.
