ICT Leadership - Transformative

This Key Area is concerned with the leadership provided for the embedding of ICT into learning and teaching.

At the transformative level there is ongoing leadership in the use of ICT both within and beyond the school for the creation of authentic learning environments. This transformative leadership results in learning of new things in new ways, not previously possible.

To help you reach your ePotential......why not...

  • Encourage teachers in your school and schools in your cluster to undertake the e-Potential ICT Capabilities Survey. Support them to analyse their results and set their own goals. They can then develop their own ICT Professional Learning Plans and you can provide "just in time" support.
  • Respond positively to staff as a mentor, coach, strategy planner or team teacher in supporting them on their ICT journey.
  • Lead the school vision for ICT and e-learning planning. Regularly review your schools eLearning Plan to ensure you are on track or modify it if circumstances have changed.
  • Explore, contribute to and lead the various ICT professional learning opportunities at your network, cluster, regional or national levels.
  • Make new links with teachers in other school who are doing classroom activities which interest you. Explore online networks.
