Assessment & Reporting - Emergent

This Key Area is concerned with the use of ICT for assessment and reporting.  At the emergent level there is recognition of the value of ICT in Assessment and Reporting, with some practice.

To help you reach your ePotential…….why not...

  • Use rubrics linked to the VELS ICT for visualising, ICT for creating and ICT for communicating dimensions.
  • Use digital video or sound recording tools to record/capture student reflections about their own learning.
  • Regularly use ICT for a student assessment tasks such as:
    • a slide show
    • presentation
    • online journal entry
    • taking a digital photo or video of a student performance.
