Survey - Comparison Reports
You can generate useful information with the compare function. You can compare different surveys (last year’s with this year’s), compare summary levels (your school with the state) and compare demographics (roles, years of service etc).
Compare Survey Groups
1. Select the kind of report you want from the Reports menu
- You will only have access to report types you have permission to view.
2. Select a Survey type
3. Click Proceed
- In the example below, you can compare your school average with the state. To compare your school’s average, select the same survey in the Report 1 drop down and in the Report 2 drop down.
4. Select your School Average as the Summary Level for Report 1
5. Select the State Average as the Summary Level for Report 2
- The Report Comparison frames will display the sample size for each summary level.
6. Click the Compare button to compare the summary levels.
- The report shows you a comparison of the Key Area results for Report 1 (your school) and Report 2 (the state).
- The graphed report compares the average percentage score for each key area and what phase has been achieved.
- The table below breaks the key area averages down to the phase level and displays the percentages of total answers given within each phase.
7. You can print the results of your comparison (or export it) by clicking the Print, Export to PDF or Export to CSV button.
- Please remember that comparison reports will change as the number of teachers doing the survey increases. You can come back to generate reports at any time to see the latest aggregation of results.
