Survey - Survey Results Data
Survey results
You can view the raw responses to each survey question by viewing the Survey Results report. This is a useful way of looking for quantitative data such as, how many teachers are actually using digital cameras? You can also view responses to non-framework questions here.
To do this:
1. Select Survey Admin > Survey results
- If you have more than one set Permission Level you will be asked to first select the Permission Level you wish to use to generate reports. The Permission Level you choose will determine the level of access you have to cohort data as follows:
Principal: Your school cohort only
Regional Director: Your region cohort only
State Representative: Whole of state cohort only
2. Confirm your Permission level, and if you have access to multiple surveys, select the survey you want to view from the drop down list.
- The Report frame displays the sample size of your cohort.
3. Click View Report
4. The Survey Results page opens where you can view how the teachers at your school actually responded to each question. For example, you can see below that most of the teachers, 63%, agree that ICT is valuable with their class.
Filter surveys results by demographics
You can also filter the survey results to query the responses for particular demographic cohorts. For example, you might want to query how many Senior Years teachers access Learning Objects at their school.
To do this:
5. Select the Survey
6. Click the Demographic Filter link and select the demographics you want to query by, for example, Year Levels: 10, 11 & 12
- The Report frame will adjust to display the sample size for your filtered cohort
7. Click View Report
