Global Classrooms 

Many schools are using ICT for their LOTE programs and Doris Frank at Bayswater Primary School has been a part of the Global Classroom Project since 1998.  

“I was approached by the Education Department and the Gout Institute to put together a program for students on the fairy tales of the Grimm Brothers in particular and because I had just been developing my own skills here in web authoring, I thought that was a wonderful vehicle to engage the students- and it has been! 

Having worked through the global classroom project and the material from there, the natural flow on was to develop more material for more secondary based students and I worked very closely with colleague Peter Dewacht on online mentoring projects.”
